Think way back to The 500 Hats of Bartholomew Cubbins. I loved those illustrations when I was a kid.

DeleteMy grandsons love Deb's Monsters on Machines too. As kid (I was pre-Dr. Seuss) I liked Millions of Cats and the Beatrix Potter books.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite picture book of all time is a cute little book called Little Fingerling. I had it when I was little and when I went to my parents to claim it for my kids it had suffered some water damage so I had to toss it. I sure wish I knew who the author was :(

Deleteone of my favorite picture books growing up was the monster at the end of this book. now, i really like all of mo willams books and all the kids i sit for love tickle monster which is a good one too : )

ReplyDeleteDinosaur books are the best! Love to look through it and keep as a signed copy. Then again, you never know when I'll have another grandchild that's dino crazy!
