The Story- Rileigh Martin is just a normal girl
living her life and spending the summer at a salon shampooing hair. Then, bang,
she fights off two would be attackers using intense skills in the mall parking
lot. She figures it must have been the adrenaline, but that doesn’t hold up
when she starts hearing a voice in her head giving battle tips and warnings.
Things get worse as crazy ninja’s beginning
following and attacking Rileigh. In steps Kim, a handsome martial arts
instructor, who tells Rileigh that she’s harboring the spirit of a
five-hundred-year-old-samurai warrior, and so is he, and by the way, they used
to be lovers.
Let the fireworks and the action begin.
My thoughts- I liked it. The book is an easy read
that is entertaining and intriguing. I liked unraveling the
mystery of Rileigh
and her 500 year old spirit. The struggle she goes through feels real as
Rileigh fears losing herself and letting the spirit take over.
Kim is a fun character, and he leads a group of
other reincarnated samurai’s that are fighting evil that is trying to take over
the world. All in all, just fun action filled scenes and a hot romance.
